Behind the scenes:

This is one of two collages that Kevin created for a backdrop to his personal photo gallery web site.

This one is titled Shinto and has a strong Japanese theme combined with exotic and surreal imagery from many cultures. The goal was to convey a sense of the multidimensional complexity and power, inherent in the world of nature. The recurring mask imagery, suggests the anonymous nature of power that can be donned by any who would put it on.
