Company Profile
Started in 1969 by David Lavier, a native Oregonian
from West Linn, Oregon, Lavier Enterprises has been involved in
development, consulting, rehabilitation, restoration and construction
of properties ranging from single family and multi-family
residential projects to mixed use, commercial, industrial and historical.
In the
mid to late seventies, we helped to pioneer programs using federal,
state and city funds, historic grants and private monies to rehabilitate
and restore inner city derelict building that could be converted
to historic mixed use properties. Most notable projects were:
 |
The
Barber Block located at 532 SE Grand Ave Portland OR. An
1890 three-story brick Victorian building with 15,000 sq.
ft. converted from junk store and 36 sleeping rooms to twelve
apartments and a premier Portland restaurant.
|
 |
The
Logus Block located at 529 SE Grand Ave Portland Or. An
1892 three-story brick building with 30,000 sq. ft. converted
from a boarding house with by-the-week rooms and an outdated
cocktail lounge to include the third floor as professional
office space, second floor as affordable housing and first
floor retail store fronts.
|
 |
Initial
consulting and development for the New Market Theatre Annex
Building located on SW Second and Ash in Portland OR.
|
Lavier Enterprises offices are located at 321 SE Alder,
Portland OR and employ an office manager, two full-time estimators/project
managers, journeymen carpenters with extensive restoration background
